Hmong’s Got Talent:

This is an online show!

 

Our Vision:  To become an online show, providing access for worldwide Hmong individuals to submit their natural talents for 1st place competition. 

 

Mission: To recognize Hmong artistic, natural ability, elements of cultural significance, and other talents, inherited or learned, as displayed or possessed by the individual Hmong person. 

 

Equal Chance:  Each participant will have an equal chance to submit his/her entry for rating.

We will use your entry solely for the purpose of the “Hmong’s Got Talent” show. Rating is based solely on the volume of online viewers/votes, exclusively through the “Hmong’s Got Talent” show channel.

 

Contestant:  Contestant understands that he/she voluntarily submits his/her piece of music/performance to our online platform, that any submission to “Hmong’s Got Talent” show will become part of our property; that you, the contestant, agrees to hold us harmless of any copyright law violations, including any present, past, or future copyright law violations related to your work/performance. In addition, we are not responsible for any harm, mental or physical, you cause to yourself or your associate during the process  of creating your piece of talent, and/or after your submission is completed.

 

Contestant understands that Hmong Got Talent or its board reserves the right to reject your submission based on the content of your music or performance. If your entry is unacceptable, an explanation may be offered upon request. 

 

Round of Show: We determine when to open each contest, close the submission, and announce the winners. It will normally take 90 or more days to complete each round of competition. We reserve the right to extend the opening and closing deadline of each round based on our criteria/requirements for each competition.   

 

Winners: Each winner will receive a monetary value (amount to be determined at the beginning of each round) in the form of a gift made payable directly to the winner. You are the winner when your entry has the highest online viewers, as credited on the closing date for viewers’ rating. 

 

Category of Contestant: It varies from time to time based on viewers’ feedback and Hmong’s Got Talent’s decision. Example of submission may include but not limited to: popular songs, folk songs, Ntaus tujlub, tua neev, tshuab tsaaj, tshuab ncaa, tuav cug, ua zaub mov, noj zaub mov, and other talents that have elements of Hmong cultural significance. 

 

This program is intentionally established to promote Hmong talents. With that purpose, a participant of Hmong descent may use any language to demonstrate or articulate his or her pieces of performance, but a person of other descent who wishes to participate must use Hmong language or things that exemplify or demonstrate elements of Hmong cultural significance. 

 

Before you upload your piece, know that Rules are subject to change without notice, and at the discretion of Hmong’s Got Talent’s board of directors. By submitting your entry at any time, anywhere, and any how, you agree that you have read and understand our policy and rules in its entirety.
